Salve,
Me chamo Rafael Rosa, trabalho com software há 15 anos, e desde 2008 tenho trabalhado exclusivamente com Ruby on Rails, participando ativamente da comunidade Ruby brasileira, especialmente o Guru-SP (Grupo de Usuários Ruby de São Paulo), que ajudo a organizar, e sou o editor do Ruby Inside Brasil, onde tentamos divulgar a maior quantidade possível de notícias sobre a comunidade Ruby nacional. Também tenho estudado metodologias ágeis, especialmente XP (Extreme Programming) e Scrum, e também gosto de participar dos encontros da comunidade ágil.
Atualmente trabalho na Locaweb como Coordenador de Produto da área de Cloud Computing, inicialmente como desenvolvedor Rails e agora fazendo o papel de PO das soluções de IaaS. Só para deixar registrado: minha equipe é demais!
Recentemente comecei um podcast sobre desenvolvimento de software, tecnologia e empreendedorismo com o Carlos Brando, do blog Nome do Jogo e um dos rubistas mais conhecidos da comunidade Ruby brasileira, o Grok Podcast. Parece que o público está gostando, temos mais de 1.000 downloads para cada episódio, estou muito feliz com isso. Você pode acompanhar o podcast no site oficial e no Twitter em @GrokPodcast.
Nas horas vagas gosto de ir ao cinema e jogar RPG, embora tenha feito pouco dos dois nos últimos tempos. Sou muito bem casado com a Clara Beauty e moramos em São Paulo com nossos 5 gatos (Cecília, Dalila, Ariela, Juju e Bebê).

My name is Rafael Rosa, I’ve been working with software development for the last 15 years, and since 2008 I’ve been working exclusively with Ruby on Rails, and participating in the Ruby community, especially with the Guru-SP (São Paulo Ruby user group), which I help to organize, and I’m the editor of Ruby Inside Brasil, where we try to publish as much news about the Brazilian community as possible. Also, I’ve been studying agile methodologies, especially XP (Extreme Programming) and Scrum, and I also like to participate in the agile community.
Right now, I work for Locaweb as Cloud Computing Product Manager, acting as the Product Owner for our IaaS solutions. Just for the record, my team rocks!
Recently I started a podcast (in portuguese) about software development, technology and entrepreneurship with Carlos Brando, who blogs on Nome do Jogo and is a very well known rubyist in Brazil, the Grok Podcast. Whenever possible I like to go to the movies and play RPG. I’m happily married with Clara Beauty and we live in São Paulo with our 5 cats (Cecília, Dalila, Ariela, Juju e Bebê).
